The Minister of Culture of Ajara, Elisso Bolkvadze, together with representatives of the Ministry, familiarized herself with the cultural and tourist potential of the Gonio-Apsaros Fortress.

They toured the renovated museum spaces and the newly restored Roman barracks.

The meeting with the staff took place in an informal setting, during which participants shared their visions and needs to better highlight the potential of this unique site.
