“Musical Batumi” Presented in Vanadzor

A gala concert entitled “Musical Batumi in Vanadzor“ was held at the Charles Aznavour Cultural Centre in Vanadzor, Armenia, as part of the official visit of Elisso Bolkvadze, Minister of Culture of the Autonomous Republic of Ajara, to the Republic of Armenia.

The concert highlighted the close cultural ties between the twin cities of Batumi and Vanadzor and emphasized the importance of supporting the participation of the Armenian community of Ajara in the region’s cultural life.

The Ajara State Vocal Ensemble “Batumi” presented a solo program featuring Georgian folk, urban and classical music. The program also included joint performances with the folk ensemble and choir of the Vanadzor Cultural Centre.

The event was initiated by the Ministry of Culture of the Autonomous Republic of Adjara and co-organized with the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sport of the Republic of Armenia and the Consulate General of the Republic of Armenia in Batumi, with the support of the Embassy of Georgia in the Republic of Armenia.
